RE: Window of Opprotunity
AST article suggests mixing Protein drink with Carb drink (Gatorade)Thanks for the article theveed!
And to even produce an anabolic effect, a 5gram of creatine should be added to my gatorade and VP2pero should I consume 2 servings of Whey mixed to a 16-oz water with gatorade powder and a 5gram of creatine?
Kse one 8-oz of water with Whey pre and post ang ginagawa ko ngayon eh. Saka may conflict sa 'Junk Foods' article sa Anabolic Nutrient Timing Rule #3.
For this meal, select low-fat, easily absorbed carbohydrates that are not high in fiber, and a lean source of protein. The best carbohydrate choices would be a baked potato, steamed white rice, or pasta. Stay away from junk foods such as burgers, fries, pizza etc. Foods high in fat are too slowly absorbed for this crucial period and ruin your chance for the optimal cellular uptake of nutrients. At this stage we are after rapid absorption.
Another solid and liquid meal after two hours of solid and liquid meal.

Okay, I read the abcbodybuilding article and it looks like pwede ko kainin ang Burger just as long as I take the whey/gatorade/creatine first. To continue, 30 mins after my whey meal, solid meal na nga ang kainin, my burger
Then after two hours, whey meal ulit ang maybe titirahin ko na lang ang oats mixed with water...carbs to.

Okay, I just tried the Phase one post-workout meal.
1 liter of water
2 scoops of Whey (48grams total protein)
1 scoop of powder gatorade (fruit punch flavor)
So I gues I should have lessen the dosage or the water in it. Try ko naman to bukas:
half-liter water
2-scoops of whey
half-scoop of gatorade
At least the protein dosage is the same but less water.
Saka sa Window of Opportunity article, there were no mention of a pre-workout protein intake. Pero bukas, I'll drink a scoop of whey with 8-oz water 30-mins prior to my work-out.
Kapag ganitong 6-scoops ng Whey ang consumption ko, I really need to switch to ON Whey dahil masakit na ang bulsa ko sa AST Whey :seeth: And Im scared to look at the scale, two more months before I can look at it again.
