    Karding: yep, ecto here.. hirap talaga magpalaki.. im 5'9" but only 142 lbs now.. my goal is to reach 150 lbs by xmas with the help of protein whey and next week creatine na din.. :D

    Btw, i thought ok na yung 3-4 days na rest between major muscle groups, pag ecto pala dapat longer?

    Regarding my work-out, stick muna ako dun kasi medyo may nakikita pa ko na improvement eh, pag wala na palit work-out ule. Also nalilito lang ako, which is better, a 4 set/10rep exercise (the weight is heavy enough to do max 10 reps) or a 3 set/4-6 reps (the weight is heavy enough to do at least 4 reps but max 6 reps).. :confused:

    Last, dami ko tanong hehe, regarding creatine.. 5 grams a day lang dapat intake nun diba pero everyday yun diba kahit di work-out day.. wala ba adverse effect ang creatine pag daily intake? also pano pag nag-stop nko magcreatine, di kaya bigla bumagsak katawan ko? Thanks!

    van_wilder, yes 5-7 days of recuperation which means 5-7 days of letting your muscle grow.

    kennster, definitely 4-6 reps with hight poundages for ecto to bulk. wag ka na malito, yan na yun...hahahaha.


    Ungas, daming na carried away pati supplements nasama dito, hehehe.

    Everyday to maintain dosage, supplements nga di ba. No known adverse effect so far found on creatine based on my own research. You can off-cycle for a month, hindi naman gaano babagsak just as long as consistent ang workout mo. Saka may iba pa namang supplements, hopefully.

    Nothing bad will happen if you take creatine everyday, it's in most of your red meat anyway, mahirap lang ihiwalay ang creatine from other ingredients ng red meat... kung nagstop ka magtake, nothing "bad" will happen, crea will probably stay in your muscle for 2 weeks before it totally washes away by your blood... di na naman "babagsaK' in terms of muscles, hehe your muscles are there, period. It probably wont look as "full" siguro since the water within the muscle fiber isn't as abundant...

    BTW, I bit the bullet and bought CGT10, makes sense kasi, may 5g crea, may L-glutamine na, may dextrose na... kesa bibili pa akong separate. Creapure din naman...

    Wanted to try SAN V12 but wala akong cash hehe di ako nakakuha kay V_W... :P

    Bukas ko na start itake ang supple ko, haven't computed my caloric intake yet kasi... hirap mabuo ang 165grams of protein lintek hehe.

    ano po bang mga contents nang supplements should i watch out for? ksi i've read before about several instances nang 'nuts shrinkage'.

    kingkaboodles: You're referring to pro-hormones aka steriods, that's totally different, they're not supplements.

    Supplements are just that, supplement, they are products that help fill up nutrients that either is too difficult to replicate with food, too costly, or too difficult for the body to digest.

    Common examples of supplements:

    Multivitamins such as Revicon, Enervon, Clusivol etc... Vitamins (C, E, D, etc)... Even drinks like Milo and Ovaltine is considered to be "supplements" since they fill up your body's need for additional nutrients that regular food can't supply.

    Mga infant "follow-up" milks are also supplements, they supplement a child's solid food intake.

    Research more about supplements. People who usually give "warnings" to newbies usually don't know what whey even is or know that amino acids are actually building block of proteins that are inherently available inside our muscle tissues.

    kaya pala nahihirapan ako mag-gain, dapat pala 5-7days... naisip ko lang, hindi siguro ako ectomorph, kaya lang ako hardgainer kasi limited lang yun kinakain ko tapos hindi pa nakakataba masyado, puro pizza, spaghetti, lasagna, spam, carbonara lang kinakain ko kasi...

    dati asar ako dahil hardgainer ako, pero ngayon natutuwa na ako, dahil kain ako ng kain ng junk foods and pizza pero hindi ako tumataba! hehehehe... kahit nauubos ko yun 14" or even 3/4 ng 18" hindi ako nanaba masyado...

    OT: sa mga kukuha ng supplements... isasabay ko na lang lahat sa nov27... okay?
