Takot? Maari siguro takot sa perang gagastusin. Hindi rin kasi biro ang mag-reverse engineering o mag-develop ng panibaging produkto. Pag-aaksayahan mo talaga ng panahon at pera. Tapos iisipin mo, tatangkilikin kaya ng publiko itong produkto ko.

Dati nag-sideline ako sa isang start-up company. Yung thesis nila ginawa nilang business. Medyo nahirapan nga sila dahil sa funding at konti lang yung client nila...
Pero on the other hand, may isa naman akong kaklase na nagtayo rin ng start-up company sa UP-TBI. Ginamit nilang pampondo eh yung mga naipon nila at yung napanalunan nila dahil sa RFID thesis nila. Nahirapan sila nung umpisa kasi nagbi-build-up pa lang sila ng pangalan. After 2 years, mukhang ok na yung company nila at marami na silang proyekto sa RFID.

ang korea lang, yung korean won halos wala na value, kasi madami silang utang na pinampondo nila sa R & D, sinusuportahan ng government nila ang mga companies for R & D..

sa major universities sa pinas, mas ginagawang importante pa yung pag-file ng patent. it's kinda sad kasi mas kailangan yung pera na pagpopondo ng start-up.
marami kasing mga problema na community-level na pwede ipa-research sa mga state u. ayaw lang magparesearch kasi mas ok na gawing basketball court at waiting shed yung pondo. hehehe.
