audio set-up for beginners [continued]

Hi sa lahat. -Meron akong mono d amp na fusion reactor re-am90010 240 * 4ohms and 350 *2 ohms. Ok kaya mag 1 ohms itong amp na ito? - ok lang ba na 1 voice coil lang gamitin ko sa dual voice coil ng sub? Tia. Ty.

- It depends if the manual of the amplifier says that your amplifier is stable at 1ohm then it's ok.
- No, it is a bad idea to only use one voice coil of a dual voice coil sub. The performance of the subs will suffer if you do this. Do some searching on how to wire a dual voice coil subs.
- Only wire your subs at 1ohm if you're into burping/dragging the subs or you're after a high number on a spl meter..... It's for the efficiency of the amplifier.

Sir thanks. No, the manual says nothing about 1 ohms. Im just thinking if i can wire it with just 1 vc so it will be on 250 wrms.

- im gonna wire it at 4 ohms 500wrms (sub) to 4 ohms 240 wrms (amp). Is that ok? What do you think would be the consequence? Tia.

Teka, ano ba ang voice coil impedance nang subs mo, dual 2 or dual 4 ohms?

Hello need help from the experts.

I already have a Pioneer AVH-X5750BT install in my car as well as deadening applied to the front doors (StP Aero).

I still have not decided on what component speakers to buy. I previously owned a DLS RM6.2. I liked it, this time I'd like to consider alternatives.

So far, I'm looking at Morel Tempo and Tempo Ultra. I have not heard the Tempo yet but I have heard the ultra already.

For the amp, dunno what to get. Lol budget is around 8-12k for the amp. I was offered a Sonus amp (forgot the model). For the sub still not decided on the brand but I'm looking at the 8" DD subs. Budget for subs around 5-7k.

Looking for feedbacks on the tempo as well as suggestions on the amp and sub. Thanks.

you may want to check out yung set-up package sa FB ng simplesound ngayon. morel maximo + 12" sub + 4ch amp, baka kasya sa budget mo

Thanks. Kaso nasa dvo ako bossing. hehehe. Btw, I remember the Sonus amp offered to me. A Sonus Enigma 4.100 ayos ba ito? How much ba reasonable price para dito? How about yung Massive V1000.4?
