The chipped paint won't be so hard to fix (or at least, hide). I'm more concerned about how she managed to get a lot of white paint splatter at the bottom part of the car by the driver side. That might take a lot longer to fix.

Anyway, I realize I buy my cars because they're mules. But, I'd like to see them unblemished at least, for a few months. Once the family add their dents and scratches, I lose interest in keeping them looking good.

No more personalized care. I just bring them to the car wash.

she probably rolled over some freshly applied white paint on the road. whatever.
if the car hasn't been waxed, and that paint is actually sticking to factory finish, it might be difficult to remove, without affecting the finish underneath.
but if the car had multiple waxings and/or protective layers in the past, removing that paint spatter may be easy.
but you already know that.
and yes, like you, my cars are tools.

It's already getting hot during this time of the year. So, I got up at 5 am to do my weekly car wash.

I use to just clean alloy wheels because it never occurred to me that they have a clear coat finish. Until now. So, why not use car wax on them? Well, I do now.
