how many degrees po ba umaabot ung temp sa vegas sir karding....

dito po kasi sa M.E., up to 54 °C lang nag reregister sa temp gauge ng govt (because no one is allowed to work if temp is more than 54 °C), but for sure it's more than 50 or 60 especially in Kuwait sometimes accompanied by more than 100 % humidity

I think umabot ng 64 (not sure) nung last summer sa Vegas. Tama yung sabi ni cyberdoc, talagang mainit. Just imagine na yung face mo is always fronting the back of a refrigertator. Parang walang hangin.

    Hi Niwde11!

Brockton is about 20 minutes to half an hour drive(if smooth ang traffic) to Boston. Hindi na siya sa Boston. As far as I can remember, malapit kasi ito sa I-93 and I-95 exchange(which used to be my route going to New York, until I discovered I-90 a year later and would cut the trip about an hour). Walang Freeway na dadaan directly but you can get to a highway(route 24 ba yon) pa yata, then get to a freeway,I-93. I've been there twice to see a hospital, Brockton Hospital. Its a nice community. Typical american community! Dito sa MA, ang Lowell lang yata ang mostly populated with Asians(marami din Pinoy)...Majority puti pa rin...Not like sa California, you will really see Filipinos anywhere you go.

    HAPPY NEW YEAR SA LAHAT!!

Hottest day recorded in vegas was 116 °F or 46.6 °C back in 1985 (according to Vegas.com)

Pero dahil wala ding hangin, kaya sobrang init lalo. Okay pa sa Pinas, mainit pero masarap ang simoy ng hangin.

fx36, mas mainit pa yata sa M.E. and goodluck sa pag migrate mo kapatid

click this LINK to see the eastern United States.

FX36, Add ko lang na from what we usually refer to as the EAST COAST is the New England Area(Maine, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Rhode Island) Plus New York and New Jersey (may na-miss ba ako?). But geographically speaking, EASTERN UNITED STATES would include all the way down south until Florida as it is clearly shown on Karding's Map.

    Hope this helps!

OO na Karding. But when you are in New York and say "east coast", they usually refer to the New England area and New York. May not be geographically correct, but people don't consider Georgia, North and South Carolina, and Washington DC as East coast. Just like when we say "WEST COAST", we just mean California and not Washington State, and Alaska. But geographically, they are supposed to be in the west coast. Know what I mean?

Thanks cyber. My sister and her caucasian husband used to live in Boston(her husband paternal place) but transferred to Brockton to start a family. I find it weird to them that they don't own a car since her husband doesn't see a logic in owning a car if they can go to their work/market using the train(very different in california). But their only child will be given a car next schoolyear because she needs it in college. My mother(lives in LA) and I plan to visit her next spring so I might need to borrow her car, hehehhe Anyway, its very much true for LA. Sobra dami filipino lalo na sa Mall.
    HAPPY NEW YEAR ALSO!

    Know what I mean?
    NOPE

Sorry but I used to live in NJ, si ermat nasa NJ pa din, and we do consider VA, DC, MD and the rest that I have mentioned, EAST COAST.

    but people don't consider...
    which people?

Just like when we say "WEST COAST", we just mean California
    Not I.

Most people assume that WEST COAST is California alone, does that make it right? Maybe If you are a rapper then EAST COAST is NYC and WEST COAST is Cali

Kapatid, Im not here to argue about geography. IF you 'think' you are correct, so be it. I just wanna give the rest of the information, and not just half baked. Know what I mean?
