My family and I have always avoided rapide because of the countless horror stories about it. Kaso para na rin akong nabiktima ng rapide through Hyundai Shaw blvd., which I learned later on to be owned/managed by the same owners/management of rapide.

nagkagasgas at paint transfer ang bumper ng Hyundai car ko, dahil sa isang reckless driver. I bought my SUV to hyundai shaw for repair for which I was assessed P4,000.00. Sabi ko, ang mahal naman. Sabi nila, "kailangan kasi tanggalin ang bumper, masilyahan at pinturahan ng buo ang bumper para magpantay ang kulay. matrabaho yun. pwede nyo dalhin sa iba, mas mura pero, iru-rubbing compound lang yan, pangit gawa." So pumayag na ako repair nila. Later, the officer said sila rin ang may-ari ng rapide. I wanted to pull out my car, pero naisip ko, baka naman iba ang hyundai shaw.

After 2 days, nakuha ko na ang car - akala siguro nila hindi ko mahahalata pero, the bumper was not removed to give way for maayos na repair. hindi naman pininturahan yung bumper talaga. Rubbing compound lang din ginawa, hindi rin minasilyahan dahil may uka pa. tinapalan lang ng touch up paint yung damaged part, mukha tuloy may perklat yung area. Pagkadumi-dumi pa ng loob ng car when I got it, may mga marka ng maduming sapatos sa back seats, ang laki pa ng nabawas sa gasoline eh full tank yun before ko dinala sa kanila.

In other words, trabahong rapide din. I felt cheated. 4 tawsan petot na yun?!!! I don't want to return the car to them for remedial job kasi kung ganoon sila magtrabaho, baka lalo pang madisgrasya.

We probably have to learn kung ano-ang ang mga sister companies ng rapide, and avoid them at all cost.

a horror story indeed. iwasan ang Hyundai, Suzuki pati Honda Shaw!
