Just be careful of purchasing counterfeit ones. Kicker's a very popular subwoofer brand in the 1990s and early 2000s and they still continue to be until today (tho less na).

March 24th, 2015 06:13 PM #1625I also want a simple sound setup for a Suzuki Swift. Currently considering Pioneer 5750bt or 2750bt for the HU. As for the speakers, no idea as of now. Any model/brand that you can recommended? Is a 6.5" speaker enough to deliver good bass? I'm not after earth shaking bass, just enough for closed window listening. Do i still need deadening? I really appreciate any input. Thanks!

Got 6inch teac seps for my front doors, paired it with pioneer 6x9s for the bass on the rear deck, all powered by my HU. So far very satisfied with the setup, the teac seps reproduces cymbals and vocals very well while the pioneers produce that punchy bass I'm looking for. Spent less than 5k for this setup, and prefer it over the 4 channel amp+sub combo I have in my other car.
I recommend the deadening to reduce the rattles.

March 26th, 2015 05:57 PM #1628May I know the recommended minimum wattage of the HU for it to decently drive the seps? A shop is recommending Lightning Lab SP2689 STAGE 2 or Team Lightning Lab 336iS. Are these good seps? If not, what other options? Thanks!

Guys, I wanted to add speakers on the stock locations under the dash location so thinking of buying 4" seps. Is this a good approach or should I get larger speakers and mount them in different location? Nakukulangan kasi ako dun sa current targa seps I have. They sound either flat or garalgal depending sa timpla.
I am also suspecting it might be my amp, anyway to know for sure?

March 27th, 2015 08:34 AM #1630Same lang or similar ang stock wattages ng mga HU. Example,
Pioneer DEX-P99RS (High-end)
Built in Amplifier: MOSFET 50W x 4
Pioneer DEH-X2750UI (Entry level)
Built in Amplifier: MOSFET 50W x 4
They are enough to decently drive seps at normal listening level. If you want more power, add an amplifier.
