What is the advantage and disadvantage of using a line converter to connect a active sub to a stock HU that does not have a sub out?

Advantage? You can connect your stock head unit with speaker-level outputs.
Disadvantage? None really. Best not to buy a really crappy line converter and settle for something "middle" or of a good brand. You would dislike if you have noise problems with it.

jhnkvn, The active 8" Blaupunkt I'm planning to get can have both speaker level and RCA input. Thanks for the feedback.

I work in ortigas, sa orient square , normally I park sa likod.

Ayus chief! pwede ako bumisita kina Jonz during weekends. Dati nung wala pa akong parking slot, dun din ako nagpapark sa likod ng orient square, yung P75 for entire day? hehe. I'm also pretty sure, kapag nahawakan na ni Jonz yan, di na rin masyadong magkakalayo yung tunog ng setup natin, actually you have a really good set there ;)

Somewhat audio related question. My car's rear deck has 4 speakers, two 6x9s and two 6.5 inchers. I've been using the 6x9s only and for the longest time wanted to remove the unused 6.5 speakers. Can audio shops fix the holes on the deck if I remove them or would upholstery shops be a better option?

I could also attempt to DIY it if someone can recommend where to buy the carpet like fabric, not sure what it's called but it's similar to the stuff you usually see on sub enclosures, except it's much thicker.

gusto ko nga sana. kaso iniisip ko kung mag kano kailangan ki yung additional gastos bukod sa registration.
ahh oks di naman siya nag alok ng sticker. napansin nya ren siguro sa kotse ko, since ang sticker lang na nakakabit is yung friendship sticker dito..

Or better yet, try mickeys audio, most likely than not it wont be more than 3k php.
I had my trunk done by them, simpleng plywood lang to cover the whole trunk, cut into 4 pcs, flawless naman pag kakagawa.
2800 lang ang charge.

natanong ko na rin actually yung sa rear then kaya naman daw nila ask na lang si mickey or yung isang manager sa ibaba.
