Curious lang mga sir. I know that the bass frequency is 20Hz and below and that is the subwoofer's area.
My question is more in the component set. Given the frequency response of a component speaker A of 35Hz-21kHz and component speaker B has 60Hz-20kHz, does this mean that component speaker A will have better bass sound? Or, we also have to factor the materials and technology that has been used in the development of the speakers(w/ respect to near bass frequency)?
Please enlighten me. thanks.

Q: Given the frequency response of a component speaker A of 35Hz-21kHz and component speaker B has 60Hz-20kHz, does this mean that component speaker A will have better bass sound?
A: Nope
Q:We also have to factor the materials and technology that has been used in the development of the speakers(w/ respect to near bass frequency)?
A: Yes. Engineering is expensive though, physics is a better indicator of bass. Larger midbass = more air moved = more bass.
Recreating bass or midbass frequencies is simply the art of moving air. Frequency response is a bad metric in general since manufacturers quote them vaguely. You see, all of these component speakers' midbass can technically reach up to 20hz once you remove the filters. BUT, you can't hear it since the output is too low.

Got it sir jhnkvn. thanks.
So if there are 2 speakers with similar(but not the same) specs and only differ in woofer diameter like lets say a 6.5" and a 5.25", the speaker that has a wider surface area cone will be most likely have a better bass sound since it will move more air than the other.

September 11th, 2014 04:56 PM #1217Had a Jazz before and to save space, what the installer did before was to create a false floor. Since malilim naman ang trunk ng Jazz they added an additional layer on top of the original flooring so the amp and sub is becomes an integral part of the flooring.

Ano kaya problema nito?

That's probably the head unit's "mother" board na mismo. In theory, it might just be the CD mechanism if lagi bad disc yun CD but since the SD slot is also affected, I'll suspect that it's the board itself.
Since that's going to cost a lot for repairs (almost brand new cost na yan)
