    1. when i put pressure on the ROP the rotation decreases that's why i try at speed 3, but when i apply light pressure i think it can rotate 1 rotation/secs . how many passes of ROP should i do for the swirlx?
so i can use aggressive pad w/ swirlx with light pressure at max setting of 4?

the best going rotation per second with pressure would be 2 secs per minute, if you apply pressure and its stops your minimum would be 1 rotation per second. so you have to try and play with the pressure on the machine, and at best get 2 rotations per second, and then you also move it slowly around about 1 to 2 inches per second.

for swirlX its usually 6 passes moderate pressure, 6 again with light pressure and you work the polish until its spent to the point it becomes clear with very light pressure, at this point its ok to have the buffer rotate faster since its the finishing stages.

yes you can use swirlX with light up to moderate pressure at speeds 4, but again white pads are very light in correction so since you have the orange pad you might want to try that instead, again 6 passes moderate about ideal 2 rotations per second, 6 passes again light pressure and a little lighter until the polish is spent, and even with the orange pad you could go up to setting 4 but no more than that

    2. yes i always keep my LC white pads flat all the time. (ordinary pads not the ccs) i also remove some of the light swirls, but some of the swirls is still there. its not rids. i have 2 white pads, 1 blue, and 1 orange.

try the orange pad instead or even yellow, the swirls might be deeper if you managed to remove some of the swirls, these might be deep swirl marks already

    3. can i use UC with white pads? at maximum speed of 4? how many passes?

yes you can use UC with a white pad but its sort of not really the best pad for UC, UC works best with purple, yellow and orange pads, with UC its also the same style, to sum it up you just have to apply the most pressure you can and maintain rotation and then slowly with more passes slowly lighten the pressure until you spend the polish

    4. what do you recommend to remove light scratches that cannot remove by swirlx ? its not that deep. can i use the rubbing compound by hand? or just use UC with white pads on it?

try UC by hand and slowly massage it

    5. whats the best water mark remover on the winshield, windows? and best sealants for glasses as well? any best procedure and products that works best?

i use a lot of products hmmm try elevo, or markV splash is also great but its in gallons, the best sealant i've used are diamondite and carlack glass sealant

    6. whats the best protectant for black plastics and rubbers? i want endurance and looks new again....

try megs ultimate protectant or ultimate trim restorer, or you could try what we use, Microtex Tireblack hahaha

I don't know if Elevo's available there in SG but im sure its available here, someone told me Elevo is a local brand for some retail company, im just not sure on that information

Yep so far so good with Microtex Tireblack

Haha for swirls and correction you really have to work the polish for a long time and for me and in most cases thats at least 12 passes hehe, with finishing polishes i could even go for more than 20 passes just to work them properly and produce a hologram free finish

as for those products, since they're a bit expensive i would suggest you just apply them by hand you kinda save more with hand application and the difference with machine application doesn't vary that much

SG SRP at most 2 passes only

as they've said nearly all handyman outlets have them, some Ace Hardwares also carry Elevo brands but not all so your best bet is handyman

As for driving at night, i agree no need for wipers but i hate it when i pass by an orange lamp post, the kinds that reveals all your swirls, all your beads on the glass turns orange, i dunno why but it doesn't seem to be the same with white and yellow lights, the beads are still clear except for orange lights

the tip to applying rain clear is to apply it really REALLY thin, that why me and my BF apply it using our hand and just spread it like massaging the window, we only use about 2 to 3 drop sizes on a whole windshield, this way its a lot easier to remove them, what some people use it newspaper its good at absorbing the gel and then just follow it up with a paper towel, this method of removal should make things really easy, you could also use a dedicated MF towel, removal using one side, removal of streak on the other side.

as for the wool that comes with ko600, its pretty much the same with most wool pads which is basically just for compounding, its not really meant for polishing and spreading anything, so i would suggest you don't use the wool pad on the windshield, wool pads tend to be really rough, so if you have a compounding job then thats the best pad for you to use but other than that its practically just gonna sit in the box like mine.

for me the best rotary is Makita 9227c its lighter and a lot less noisy than the BnD, it costs around 10.5k to 11k but its well worth it, BnD on the other hand goes up to 4.3k if its with the backing plate, this is the best value by far, don't settle for cheaper brands, i used a JAC and it busted out on my in less than 6 months and just about the time the warranty expires, BnD offers 2 years warranty if you are sensitive about those things, Makita 9227c on the other hand offers lifetime service warranty but none on parts, but there's a reason why nearly every professional detailer and dealerships opt for the Makita, basically they last a long long time, by friends Makita lasted for 9 years of daily use, he only had to replace the carbon brush twice which costs less than 300 for both instances
