    Mga sirs, question lang po!

I'm planning to have our wood parquet flooring resanded/repolished (polyurethane finish). I've already contacted a few contractors and asked them for quotations. Ano po ba ang dapat kong bantayan or i-ensure and dapat malaman so that I don't get the short end of the stick? One contractor already sent me a quote for P22/sq. ft. TIA.

Mas maganda if they will provide you sample ng finish nila on a piece of wood parquet. Then dapat may warranty yun gawa nila, warranty sa worksmanship. Baka ilang months pa lang mag-fade na.

Before their schedule work put some plastic cover to isolate yun area na i-sanding nila, medyo dusty during sanding process mahirap maglinis pag kumalat ang alikabok sa loob ng house.

    Mukang medyo pricey yun P1325/sq.m.

Why dont you try branded laminated flooring like Pergo or Krono. You can get it for less than 1K including installation cost.

If you can get Narra or Kamagong Planks (super rare), mas ok yun than wood parquet. Problema lang sa Kamagong super tigas ang hirap butasin nun ng pako so drill lahat. Yung trellis na ginawa namin for the then DECS secretary, ok pa rin even after 10years kahit exposed sa elements (rain & sun).

If you wanna get practical, Granite tiles (mga ~1m x 1m / 0.80m x 0.80m ). Matigas, madali linisin. Mahal lang sa una pero worth the price.

It doesn't look as nice as properly finished wood planks though pero depende yan sa taste mo.

How much would it cost to add a second floor to a FA:90sqm bungalow in BF Resort, Las Pinas?
