pero ako, antayin ko na lang masira bago ko palitan. mahal din kasi inverter types ngayon eh.
    How old is your A/C?

I changed my old A/C to a new one (same 3/4 HP rating, non-inverter) and my electricity bill went down considerably (between P500 to a little less than 1K per month). Another big item in keeping your home efficient in terms of lay-out, natural lighting and heat soak reduction; when i plan to build my own house, I'm going to pay good attention to insulation and orientation against the sunlight. When we got a condo, before deciding on the unit, i observed the location for several days and chose a unit which gets morning sun rather than the afternoon sunlight.

Yes bro.,- because the compressor becomes inefficient, and so are the unit's airway and insulation.... Just like the refrigerator....

Yeah, that will still make a difference. If it's too much to go inverter (acquisition cost + installation), it would be quite advisable to change to a newer A/C already, especially if the old one is well-used and inefficient that you find yourself keeping it always at the highest/coldest setting.

My electric bill at home is 5.5K to 6.5k per month. That's two 3/4hp ACs running for approx 8-9 hours at night, a ref and freezer (side-by-side/suicide door type), TV, plantsa, washing machine, and a mix of FL, CFL and LED lights (usually 4-5 of them are on in the early evening). Tinatamad pa rin ako to remove and change 2 remaining FL fixtures since i'll need a carpenter/electrician to do the work.

I replaced 10 CFLs to LED lighting (on for 10 hours during the night). Currently saving only approx 1KW-Hr a day,- or roughly P300 a month.... Not much on lighting....

Almost 6 years na, binili to before ako magcollege. Naka-on siya siguro mga 11-12 hours a day. Oh wait, meron din pala ako nung ref na pang-tindahan, yung haier na freezer and a sanyo ref. yung sanyo ref ko pinapatay ko minsan kasi maingay, parang helicopter.

    They're just 10W typically individually,- don't worry.

    10W x 24 hours = 0.240KW-Hr.... per day or P7.2KW-Hr a month... At P10 per KW-Hr.... That's P72 per month each....
