Around 11.6% at the least. As i said, i have to give it 2-3 months to establish an average for consistency since i have not finished an entire billing cycle/month with the new A/C in use yet.

thanks for your inputs sir. ang problem lang, decrease nga kw-hr mo pero ung rate ng kuryente natin pataas.

but ung pagtaas ng kuryente is just below 1% ng total electricity cost eh. Kaya panalo ka pa din.
Ang problema mo sir ung appliance ng kapitbahay mo. Sabihan mo na kasi mag upgrade na din sila para lalo ka makatipid. Hehehe

What are the pros and cons of using a primary metering vs multi metering?

Depende sa set up bro. Sa pagkakaintindi ko ha. Primary tpos may submeter? - and advantage is one bill simple pero kung multiple users ikaw gagawa ng billing every month, mas matipid sa electrical installation, mas madali lagyan ng back up power disadvantage nasa primary ang lahat ng losses na mahirap icompute may time na humabagsak power factor. Multimetering - disadvantage mahal electrical connection especially if you will use back up power. Advanyagr Ok ang power factor, bahala sila ni meralco magusap,. Yan muna boss. Dami pa eh.

July 14th, 2013 09:00 AM #189From what I know, primary metering is used mostly in big commercial (like malls) and industrial loads. In primary metering, the meter is at the service entrance before the transformers. So if the supply is 69 or 13.8kv, the consumer buys its own step down transformer to bring the voltage down to 480 or 220V. The meter reads everything including power factor losses, Cu and operating loss from the transformer. The consumer owns the transformer.
I'm not sure what you mean by multi metering.
If your application is a small commercial or apartment building. Then its best to have a individual meter for each slot billed to them directly by the power provider. Not sub-meter.Last edited by userfriendly; July 14th, 2013 at 09:03 AM.

Sir, the reason I ask whether it is more feasible to do primary or secondary metering is because of the highlighted part. Will my opex be high since we will buying the transformer if we proceed with the primary metering? or will my electricity billing be much higher if we proceed with the secondary metering since meralco will provide the transformer and of course this will be charge to us in our monthly billing.
