what I'm trying to drive at sir is that, before the spaniards came, rajah solayman was the ruler of kingdom of manila, according to history.

    just a minor critique...
you could have said that much earlier.. it would have saved a lot of airtime.
but you are being too kind.. solayman was traitored by the iberians. their so-called "revolt", was simply an attempt to get back what was theirs in the first place.
    but, thanks for responding.

i don't want people to take my word at face value, especially here. i want them to know first hand. if history is written by the victors then what is written about rajah solayman could be believed because he was routed by the iberians when they came. that was the beginning of the narrative history until it culminated in corrigidor.

anyway, whatever, personally i have no love lost to colonizers. but my belief or any one's belief, does not matter. but we do need to put things in proper perspective so that, i now sound like a broken record, we can come up with a solution to the insurgency problem in Mindanao.

Alam ko yan, pero yan ang ambisyon nila eh. first MNLF then may breakaway MILF after that meron nanaman yang ibang grupo.

Quite ironic as during the first term of Marcos, Cotabato was the only center of Mindanao conflict with muslims vs ilagas. The Dimaporos were the only politican clan and warlord then. Sulu & Tawi-Tawi was heaven of pirates & smugglers. Zamboanga was called the barter capital & city of flowers.

so save me the trouble, and just tell me, sir.
According to Zaide, the Filipino came from the Malay race. Magellan landed in Mactan Island, but if you look at how Lapu-Lapu is projected , does he look Cebuano ? And so is Solaiman, he doesn't look like of any Manila boy. To who's costume are their attire attributed to?

I missed who's presidency was that whether of Quirino or Magsaysay that pushed for the migration of people from Luzon & Visayas for the building of Mindanao.

    Quoted from RT :

The quality of generals in an army matches the quality of leadership of their commander in chief.

But what do you expect from a commander in chief whose idea of war he only learned from war games on the Internet. The President should stop playing these games.

Oo nga kulit nila. Gas and oil fields din habol nila. 3beses na nga natalo sa referendum eh. Kaya tingin ko hindi ma-aannex Palawan kasi nga napatunayan na before na ayaw nang vast majority nang tao dito na masama sa ARMM.
