May 27th, 2010 02:45 PM #62+1 kay sir roberto_minosa. The Advie's design allow excellent egress/ingress, even well enough room for kids to roam, jump, and hang around. But it was designed for hauling and normal driving but not for racing. Sabi nga ng officemate ko, parang Johnny Bravo ang Advie, big body, small wheels. He he...
IMHO the present advie's engine perfectly matches its body design. Pag ginawang more powerful ang engine, kailangan na ng major modification sa body and wheel design, otherwise sesemplang siya. I almost did once when bago pa si advie e i was driving cars all my life (OT).
Madami din bumibili kasi ng Adventure til now kasi maganda siyang tingnan and compared with Innova and Crosswind, has more "visible" bang for the buck features. Bargain siya compared sa mga 900K-1M+ range of vehicles nowadays. (Compensating ata ako ah. May mga times kasi i wish that i had more money to buy the Montero. Eto yung mga times na nakikisakay ***y office mates ko. Hak hak)

May 27th, 2010 03:03 PM #63And speaking of comparing the Adventure and the Innova, at the same price range, you'd get the loaded variant of the Advie instead of the bare-bones J variant (which is what we got). It's perfect for city folks due to the relatively better visibility as compared to the Innova. Cheaper to run, too; if you happen to avoid a lemon. It's not as spacious, though.
But for us promdis who go through expressways all the time, I think the Innova was the better choice. It's more relaxed at highway cruising speeds than the Adventure.

yes, it can also be another option for MMPC to put a turbo....But what I said on my earlier post was to put a "direct injection diesel" engine without the commonrail system...and not a N/A Direct Injection Commonrail diesel engine which is as what you said Overkill, even without a turbo for the advie....
So basically....what Im saying is that the present 4d56 CRDi Turbo in the strada and montero....minus the Turbo, the Commonrail and just retain the Direct Injection technology....that way the advie could somehow advertised itself that its somehow stepping into the future...also comparing to isuzu's 4ja1 with a turbo on the current crosswind, a 4d56 direct injection with a turbo on an Adventure wouldn't be so bad either and IMO it can still be handled by the existing platform...

The only reason kung bakit wala paring Fuzion/Zinger CRDI variant ay dahil pinapababa pa nang MMPC ang manufacturing costs at parts ng CRDI engines.Pero in two years time eh baka magkaroon na nyan.
Maganda parin ang Mitsubishi Adventure hanggang ngayon IMHO kaya nga mabenta yan!

hmmm... 2.5 Direct Injection Naturally Aspirated 4D56? i dont recall MMC producing this type of configuration- locally or in Japan. Turbocharging was always MMC's route to perk it up.
But I will try to look further.
DDi? D-iD? hehehe... basta, to this date, walang D-iD na Adventure. period.
As what sir Niky has mentioned, The Computer Management is possible- i saw this present in a spec sheet of the JDM Pajero 4M40 in Japan where the hp count increased from 125 to 140. I doubt it if it was applied on the 4D56 though.Last edited by ianmitsulancer; May 28th, 2010 at 11:17 AM.
