what if the Fuzion has the available Common rail Diesel Engine and take away the adventure? Unfortunately di rin mabenta ang Fuzion.

Hindi mabenta yung Fuzion dahil sa engine nya. Kasi mas maganda naman yun sa Toyota Innova 'e.

Fuzion was supposed to bridge the gap between the advie and the monty.
but since walang diesel... tapos yung petrol version e kasing takaw ng expedition, plonk. walang bumili.
and regarding the CRDi? The hyundai, ford, and kia diesels seem to be more durable than those equipped with densos.
EDIT: although the new hyundai R seems to be hitting some problems on the local dieselLast edited by scharnhorst; May 27th, 2010 at 08:26 AM.

Things could have been different now if the diesel-fed Fuzion came out here.

as per past conversations with another club member.....he thinks that it will still soon materialize...for the reason that MMPC still wants to complete the construction of the plant in cainta...because if ever they will manufacture an AUV that is targetting a specific local market which is expected to give high margins... they want it made here to lessen the cost...rather than importing it from its country of origin which is taiwan which probably will have a price that is gonna be dictated by the exchange rates...
so if thats really true...lets expect that more trims are gonna be availabale for the fuzion in the future....or better, lets forget the trims...We just want a diesel Fed one.....Last edited by locoroco777; May 27th, 2010 at 10:18 AM.

May 27th, 2010 10:13 AM #59according to wikipedia, wala talagang diesel variant ang Fuzion at the moment...
Just to get a better perspective, ung distributor-type diesel engine ba is comparable to a carbureted gas engine, power and emissions-wise?
Been googling for more info on distributor-type engines to no avail...

They can do what Hyundai did with the TCi Starex. It has a 4D56T with computer control, which gives it better response than an old-school turbodiesel. That way, they can keep the price of the Fuzion down while still providing diesel economy.
Even better... no injector issues with a low-pressure old-school turbodiesel.
BTW, it's a mistake to think that fuel issues only happen here... people in Europe also have problems with injectors... but it obviously takes a little longer for them to experience issues than here.
