Mitsubishi Montero Sudden Acceleration Accidents [MERGED]

Just saw another Montero SUA segment from Abscbn, they repeated the statement again to engrain it to the minds of viewers "In SUA Situations, pressing the brakes will not cause the brake lights to light up"(or something to that effect) I wanted to scream.

Anyway, re the highway where the car is already in motion and SUA occured, wish they could tell us whether those units had cruise control?

I personally dont want cruise control as I have no experience with it and I worry about that feature going in the fritz when I don't expect it and I don't know how to react.

They presented a lady who did have SUA while on SCTEX as mentioned in the segment of Abscbn. She said the engine revved and she couldnt stop it so she simply let go which cause her to go over the barriers of SCTEX and tumble down the side of the hill. I believe during the segment she specifically mentioned she couldn't push down the brakes so I am curious whether something got lodged under the brake pedal.

Opinion ko
Drivers error yang problem sa montero kasi according sa napnood kong video di umilaw brake light and nag emit ng very dark smoke dahil baka ang alam niya ay BRAKES siya naka tapak so kung sa accelerator siya nakatapak na akala niya BRAKE pedal kaya fully depress ang accelerator kaya nagalit ang makina ng husto na cause ng pag wawala nito.
Thr video that I am referring is the white Montero that caused chaos in a tight parking space

AND according experience ko sa A/T montero GLS 2010 triny ko N to D habang naka tapak sa gas yun burnout lang so wala akong galit or problema sa Mitsubishi.

after namin mag lunch sa isang resto kahapon. nauna akong lumabas para istart at paandarin muna aircon ng Montero kasi nakabilad sa init. binukas ko bintana para pasingawin yung init then lumapit yung guard at sinabi sa akin;

Guard: Kasi sir pinaguusapan ng 2 driver dito kanina na umaandar daw mag-isa ang montero. kaya yung isa daw eh magre resign na sa amo nya after christmas kasi montero yung sasakyan. natatakot daw sya baka yung ginagamit nyang montero eh saniban daw bigla ng demonyo..

I wrote a couple of Letters of Complaint, through email.

The first one to the Manager of Customer Service; The second one to the President and Chief Executive Officer, both of Mitsubishi Motors Philippines....

No response from either of them. I will make a tracer email first hour of business tomorrow.... It should be their responsibility to acknowledge receipt and then to respond.
