May nag pa inspect na ba? Feedback naman diyan.

This inspection recall was issued more than a year ago na ata. The casas timed this tightening during PMS of the affected montero and strada.

If your montero is one those concerned, and had your PMS usually at the casa, I'm sure they already had conducted the bolt tightening to the right torques of the bolts of the upper suspension arm. Otherwise, if you're not sure, you can inquire about it in your next PMS.

I have a 2011 Montero Sport GTV. During acceleration I can hear wheezing (more like a whistle sound). Any one who can provide insights on what is causing the sound and how to possibly fix it?

Just to clarify, does 2.5 GLS included in the recall???

The recall is/was for "Mitsubishi Strada pick up models which were sold from September 2006 to June 2009 and for Mitsubishi Montero Sport 3.2 GLS and GLS SE 4x4 A/T models sold from September 2008 to February 2009" (Source: MITSUBISHI MOTORS CORPORATION | Press Release).

Boss Slick, that sound is normal for turbocharged engines. That is the sound of the turbo spooling...

Thanks ooba99. I just found out about this recall this month.

Though I had my MS regularly serviced at the casa, no one there cared to inform me about it -- not last year, and not even this year. My unit is one of those affected, I found out, using the search facility. So I'll just make the appointment. Sana di talaga lumampas ng 2 oras.

marami ba nakakaexperience ng rough downshifts (jerking) with strong 'clunk' sound?

how about 'clunk' sound when accelerating from 20kph?

helllo po mga sirs, am planning to replace my side mirror cover w/ one w/ LED. tanong lang po kung saan idadaanyung wire nya papunta s loob? kelangan pa bang butasan yung side mirror? TIA!

I have problem with lamp sa loob ng car, its not shutting off even when i lock all the doors. and the horn still works even the keys were removed. I have a GLSV, anyone have this same problem? Thanks!

Most will tell you that this is a normal turbo sound but in my case I found this sound out of place and after a few months SCV problem surfaced. SCV was replaced under warranty.
