December 28th, 2009 11:40 PM #383Every time I turn the steering wheel, may naririnig akong tunog. Hindi naman malakas but you can here it if you lower the volume of the audio system.

Help! Ako naman my alarm is working when its locked and unlocked, pero my signal lights are not blinking. I didn't even bother to disable my alarm since brandnew. I just noticed the signal lights stopped blinking, but tumutunog pa din yung alarm. Haay.. anyone encountered this problem too?

Have it warrantied na.
Asked them the same thing and they said that the default steering column is from the Thailand plant so they can't change it when the units arrive here unless the customer files for a replacement when they experience the problem.
For me they should just simply follow Arnold Swarzenegger and do Total Recall bwehehehe.
Ehem
Hindi naman daw lahat ng units ganyan but they do notice the rising statistic for this particular defect.

December 30th, 2009 09:52 PM #390The service guys in Diamond Fairview called me yesterday, asking me there if there is a sound if I turn the steering wheel. I said "YES it does!". They are offering to replace the steering column right away, but I told them, "isabay na lang sa 5k km PMS". The good thing with Mitsubishi is they are aware of the problem of our Montero Sport, and they do not tell us stupid reasons on the cause of the problem. Unlike Toyota which does not acknowledge the defect of the Thailand-built D4-Ds, and tell stupid reasons why the D4-Ds choke.
