December 1st, 2012 01:53 AM #2945Finally, after a week of waiting from the promised date, i got my white gls cvt.
Total price i paid was 606,690 pesos. cash
price is inclusive of unit price, comprehensive insurance and Third Party Liability.
I did not pay for the LTO since i myself volunteered to do the registration. Papadala na lang sa akin documents and i will choose on the LTO branch i will register the mirage. They will send it to me via LBC in a week's time.
i did not avail of the free US Gila tint. So all in all, i got 2 sets of car care kit. yung isa mitsubishi brand, yung isa microtex.
nakakuha ako ng free EWD.
nakakuha ako ng thank you letter from my SA. Thank you Julius. After all of the negotiations with him, all went well.
the odometer reading is 61km when i got the mirage. nagbliblink na yung digital gasoline meter kaya dumiretso na ako sa caltex and tried gold. Total liters refueled is 28.335 liters * 1,481.64 pesos. Hindi pa nauubos until now.
I invested on VKOOL sa tint. 5 years warranty. super black. wrap around. my source even told me na para sa akin hindi lang 5 years kungdi 10 years. i paid 5,500 pesos and 100 pesos tip sa installer.
Some observations.
1. i noticed that everytime i start my engine from a long rest, the temperature light will turn on and from the start of the engine, siguro naka on yung temperature light for a minute or two then mag off na yung light temp.
2. Nung napadaan ako sa Mitsubishi commonwealth biglang nag beep yung alarm ng 3 or 4 times.. i do not know if may sensor ang bawat mitsubishi dealer or napatiyempo lang siguro na may interference. naka on yung gps ko. It alarmed 3 times with 3 or 4 beeps. I checked naman the placing of the KEY and sa tabi lang naman sya ng key cradle.
3. Nung paglabas ko sa casa and had my gas refueled, i made an air check sa mga tires and all tires got arading of 44 psi. buti na lang at pinacheck ko so ang ginawa ko pinababa ko na lang to 32 psi.
So far...so good...mukhang matipid.....i will post my FC in a day or two on the next full tank refuel.
Thanks.

December 1st, 2012 02:28 AM #2946It's saying that the engine is not yet at its optimal working temperature. When the light switches off it means the engine has reached its optimal working temperature level (ok na yung circulation ng engine oil).

sa mga small displacement engines kasi, total weight of the vehicle is a big factor when it comes to FC

21 km per liter ba talaga o gimmick lang??
Please post all your latest FC now no if and buts , actual on Philippine roads . We get the average then as a whole.
Maybe , we can post 2 set of FC : City Driving and Hiway Driving

^brad there are certain methods applied when the 21km/li was achieved for the fuel-economy test of the mirage
when the f-15 eagle jet fighter registered its flight records it was flown with NO PAINT, just to keep it as light as possible
GLX models are lighter than GLS because its been stripped of other features thats why its very important to mention the model, the tranny, passenger load, aircon settings, maximum speed, traffic condition in order to be fair
another piece of advice i could give based on experience is that if its fuel economy you want to achieve then drive below 60kph in the city & below 80 kph in the highway
As expected, in response to Tesla’s entry into the Philippines market, Ford will be bringing in the...
