It seems that many Mirage owners are not really satisfied with their actual FC, ano kaya ang dahilan at parang mataas ang fuel consumption ng Mirage. Sabi nila dahil 'break-in pa daw', ganun ba talaga yun, pero bakit yung ibang sasakyan, sa umpisa pa lang matipid na.

O_di kaya pwede pa ma-improve yung ECU settings ng Philippine issue Mirage, napansin ko kasi Euro 2 lang ang emission setting natin at medyo mababa ang gearing ng transmission, hindi ba umaatungal agad yung makina pag pinipiga yung accelerator lalo na sa low gears.

Kelan kaya mag-sponsor yung MMPC for FC Challenge race. Malalaman natin dyan kung driving habits natin ang problema.

Pag inilabas dito yung newly improved K10B engine ng Celerio which is now equipped with VVTI, mas lalong sasaya ang competition for FC challenge. Then yung Swift meron na ding 1.2 engine.

Sana mag-post na rin ng FC ng Mirage nila yung mga owners outside Metro Manila, kaya lang marami na kayang na-release na Mirage sa mga probinsya.

i just got 18km/li (manual computation) with GLX CVT

(252-110)km/7.84li

the road traffic condition traversed was light to moderate, the car was driven alone with aircon set to only 1, followed 60kph speed limit religiously

started driving the car with casa pre-loaded fuel, drove around until the fuel gauge blinked, then i proceeded to the pit-stop & gas up with P400 worth of fuel which is tantamount to roughly 7.84li with odometer reading 110km. proceeded with the run until the fuel gauge blinked again & ended the day with another stop in the gas station with 252km odometer reading

Anyway, may kakaibang nangyari sa amin relating sa alarm. Di ko alam kung anong nangyari pero habang nasa hi-way kami biglang nag alarm (3chirps). Twice nangyari. Di ko alam kung bakit at ano ang nagtrigger. Nakalock naman yung mga doors tapos nasa tamang lagayan naman sya. Ok naman yung takbo namin. Dun sa last alarm, napansin ko na nag blue yung indicator sa gilid. Nagfliflicker tapos after a while nawala rin.

Actually gumagana naman yung alarm. I just wanted to change some settings such as the arm/disarm chirp setting (I want it silent) and the ignition switch auto lock/unlock (which drives me nuts).

I encountered the same issue with the alarm. Parang nangyayari yan kung hindi nag auto-unlock after switching ignition off. The alarm system seems to get confused and arms the alarm with the ignition on. Ginagawa ko is to switch off the engine (button in the off/no light state) tapos ina-unlock ko yung kotse using the remote. Tapos start ko na, ensuring that the alarm LED stays off.

Is this true? Do we have a lot of mirage owners not happy with their FC?

Pareho kami ng result ni kisshmet. Pag moderate to heavy traffic 12-14km/L nakukuha ko.

Not too shabby actually, it's a bit better than my mom's GD Jazz CVT and obviously way way better than the Revo 1.8 Gas that I also regularly use. GLS M/T ang Mirage ko.

Tapos kasama sa contest yung Alto K10, Celerio, Eon, I10, at Mirage. Ang lakas siguro ng kantiawan at pikunan. Pero pag bumaba yung FC kumpara sa dating service eh ok na. Patok na patok na yan, bale parang less 2-3k din daw or more sa monthly amortization because of fuel savings.
