August 22nd, 2021 12:52 PM #74Not really related sa cookware but does anyone know any repair and cleaning service for exhaust/range hood? Nagiingay na kasi yung fan and it hasn't been repaired or cleaned for more than a decade. Hehe

August 22nd, 2021 02:16 PM #76I lack those skills. Haha. And if fan motor ang problem, I'd rather pay someone to repair or replace it. Hehe

10 years? If I were you I would just replace it, sell the old one at junk price if you wish. I always look at repair of old electric items as at risk of failing again after a short period, especially for people like me who feel that any repair done inside the house is an inconvenience, I'd rather go through the inconvenience once by simply replacing it with a new one. Tsambahan na ang repair even if you get the more expensive authorized service provider, what more if you get someone like Enteng Butingting.

Hapened to me last year before the lockdown...
I called LaGermania to ask for a technician to repair our range hood for the fisrt time in 12 years. It's out of warranty and they did not want to do home service. They are asking me to bring it to their sevice center.
Then, lockdown hits. Since i have all the time to do DIYs, i had it cleaned, repaired the range hood myself and it's working perfectly now. It just needs some thorough cleaning. I am pretty shre your motor is really dirty.
