open type diesel gensets super ingay as compared to open type gasoline gensets na tolerable ang noise. if you opt for closed type diesel gensets, laki ng difference sa noise..mas tahimik talaga and mas maganda rin tingnan pero mas mahal * approx. 60-70k for a china closed type diesel genset..mga orig brands aabot 90k up.
gensets can be used overnight as long as may fuel since it is aircooled. pero its better if ipahinga ng sandali after say, 24hrs of continuous use.

between coleman and honda, ano mas maganda? after sales nila? etc... nagkaphobia na ako sa milenyo 1 week yata kami nawalan ng kuryente doon s muntinlupa dati...kailangan pa namin makitlog dito sa binondo sa parents ko....ang hirap!!! so basically parang maintenance din ng kotse, na regular oil & fliter change...ano pa ba mga consumable na parts niya?

oh and to add, i prefer crank type gensets, yung aking Coleman genset almost 2yrs na pero isang hila lang, andar agad.
gensets with starter n batteries may be more convenient but pag bihira lang nagagamit at nadrain ang battery..pag nagblack out..yari ka..lalo na mga gensets with 6V batts.
