[QUOTE=hotrox;731961Anyway, we all have our sad stories to tell and am grateful for this Forum where future & current muscle car enthusiasts can learn a great deal from and avoid the money pits. Thanks and keep us posted.[/QUOTE]
unfortunately experience is sometimes the best teacher. also, hard din for newbies to tell who to listen to dahil maraming "experts" diyan. and most newbies have a day job kaya di mapag ukulan ng panahon ang restoration process and will "trust" another to do it.
Now my two cents worth - always approach with caution and be a little cynical. it is easy to get dazzled due to the euphoria of getting a cool toy. do your homework as Woodfire said and be conservative. Also when you do find that group or team that can help you make sure you take care of them.
It can be an enjoyable hobby but it can also be dangerous. Always approach with caution, armed with info and be organized... and you will be well rewarded.Last edited by midinite; January 9th, 2007 at 10:25 AM.

I started the same way. It was woodfire posting pictures of muscle cars and telling the story of his restoration that got me interested too
This is true. Plus, always research. Nobody knows everything. The beauty of the internet is that it is easy to verify what is said or to spot a falsehood. Due diligence lang
