December 10th, 2009 04:34 PM #21sir: thanks for the suggestion... i'll take note of it... by the way, where do you get your biodiesel? i also live in cavite... are you refering to the biodiesel that you could easily buy at regular gas stations like flying v or the pure biodiesel which is being sold by small / independent dealers? TIA!

Nag direct ng fuel supply from a plastic gallon without passing the fuel pump and fuel filter. ok naman. di nag off at pino ang takbo ng engine.

Sorry baka OT rin ito, balak ko rin sana mag upgrade to Trooper, yung 4JG2 para easier to maintain. Worth it ba to replace my 2000 XTRM w/ a 99 Trooper? Thanks again!

Malaki. The Trooper requires:
- 2 Oil Filters
- 2 Gal. BESCO Oil (special oil)
... and prices of these are higher than a Hilander (XTRM). The Trooper is a 3.0L vs. a 2.5L Hilander --- so it is expected that Hilander would be more fuel efficient.
In terms of speed, comfort and image.... no brainer, Trooper wins vs. the Hilander.
Besides, it's comparing apples and oranges....
