Anybody has any experience with performance chips?

Galing lang ako sa trans sport show and napansin ko yun DP chip stall. Sounds interesting, does anyone here have any experience with that product?

So far, my Tucson hes been performing very well. The power is great and the fuel consumption has exceeded my expectations. I'm doing around 8-9 km/liter (city driving).

As for the down side, I've has issues with the whistling brake pads. But since the service center cleaned them, it hasn't returned to annoy me.

For those contemplating to buy a Tucson, body color may be an issue. I was looking for a red unit but they only have red for the 4x4. I didn't find some of the body colors appealing so I got a black unit, which I think half of the Tucsons running around are also black.

But over all, it's been performing very well!

8-9km/liter lang sya? pareho lang ng SF ko. yan pa naman gusto ko ipalit sa crv ko para sa misis ko sana pag nag-drive na sya

^^^ Actually bro., personally, I'll be happy with the 8-9Km/L fuel rate consumption. We're still looking at this vehicle for my wife's drive, in about 1.5 years....

Pero, pansin ko lang,- mukhang mahina ang aircon ng sasakyan....

Aircon so far for my unit is still ok. Hindi pa naman sumusuko sa init ng panahon ang aircon ko ngayon. Pag sa gabi medyo hinihinaan ko thermostat since nakakasakit na minsan ng ulo ang lamig.

any comments for the DP chip for our tucsons? Medyo na iintriga ako dito.

*Cool Breeze - I just wanted to follow-up if you have received the replacement. Also, which dealership are you dealing with? TIA

Per HARI's request, I have taken photographs of my visor mirror's chipped cover for which I had requested replacement under warranty. (I bought the car late October last year.) I guess they want to determine if I had abused it one way or another, which is fine with me. I am posting the photos here so at least I can get other opinions as well.

But what bothers me though is the dealer service manager personally told me he had filed a claims/report after inspecting the vehicle during the routine 5000 km service. That was about two weeks ago. Now, HARI is asking for photos. It appears they do not even have guidelines for filing claims/reports. Worse, it has taken them two weeks just to determine they need photos. All for a simple chipped part.

Anyways let's see how it goes.

    hello peeps,

got my new 4wd tuctuc na after a long wait.
had my first 1000km check after 3 days.
im very satisfied with the performance...
just cant resist the temptation to drive it from zamboanga peninsula to davao city....
so after 3 days 1000km kaagad.
now im free to break any speed record hehehe
tanong ko lang, would it void the warranty if i add a subwoofer or change the bulb of the headlamp?
    mahirap kasi travel at night....
tanong ako sa casa sa cdo, sabi naman nila di raw mavoid. just wanna make sure... i hope may taga hari dito who could answer my querries.
i asked them about the turbo timer, yun sabi nila mavovoid daw warranty.

    Is the 8-9 km/liter M/T or A/T? If it's M/T. What's the fuel performance of an A/T?
