If it came from below the dahboard, it might have something to do with a leaking a/c drain hose ... maybe detached ... and the flood is just coincidental. I know I'm guessing coz this is not likely to happen on a fairly new car.

But seriously, if the flood water was below muffler height and the time spent wading through it was very short, then alternative explanations for the soaked carpet might indeed be considered.

if it comes under the dash, then most probably yung evaporator hose drain galing yun. BB, it is possible. kasi habang ginagamit mo yung a/c, nagpo-produce ng yelo yung evaporator which melt after some time.

this happened to my lancer before, i went through shallow flood waters but then the next day i noticed na basa yung carpet ko... when i brought it to the casa nakita nila barado yung drain hose ng aircon... so that could be a possibility in your case...

I don't have problem with mine. Parang tama lang considering na mabigat ang Tucson. Reklamo ko lang ay medyo matagtag ang ride at malakas sa gas

Pag pinagmamasdan ko ang Tucson and Sportage, habang tumatagal mas maganda talaga Tucson.

Pero mas maganda pa rin CRV para sa akin. (lalo na yung side and likod)
