will try to test drive the accent 1.6cvvt gamma (124PS) this weekend... let's see if it's good enough not to go to the elantra 1.8D-CVVT (150PS).

if u could find 6.5x16 sir, then go w/ offset 38. pero mahirap hanapin yong specs na yan, but on the positive note, talagang pasok na pasok ito sa fender. commonly sa market is 7x16. advisable offset is either +40 or +42.

tire spec is 195/50/R16.

i did not do anything w/ the suspension na sir. on weekends kasi, dala-dala ko kasi pamilya ko.

but it's a beauty if you lower it conservatively. and besides, u'll have a firmer ride, highly suitable if u love that adrenaline rush.

mukang naiintindihan ko na ng konti mga sinasabi ni sir adik meikey hehe .. pero mdami pa kaylangan matutununan sa mags at gulong.. meron pa lang tire calculator, pwedeng macompute kung compatible sa accent ung tire.. Tire size calculator .
Mukang hinde pwede sakin un 215 45 17.. yung speedometer reading ko 4.1% too slow na daw.. mukang mgnda tire spec sa 17 is 205 40 17, and 215 40 17.. mga .08 lng difference sa reading ng speedometer. sa 16 naman 195 50 16 nga.. halos wlng naiba sa reading ng speedometer.. callmenadz try mo tong site na to [url=http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html]Tire size calculator.

Sir meikey bakit nakita sa specification ng mags TOTL ng accent ng 6.0jx16 size ng gulong.. ibig sabihin ba nun ganyan din dapat sukat ng mags natin pag mag 16 tayo? kapag 7x16, ang magiging output ba nun eh ung parang nakapalabas yung mags?

Not necessarily sir na you follow the tire specs. For a 7x16 tires, depende rin sa offset ng mags. As far as I have tested, pinaka suitable pa ring yong +40 to +42 offset, +38 then your tires goes outward, and your car looks like an offroad sedan. To eliminate this difference, some uses fender flares (Example nito is yong fender flares ng Mugen RR body kit ng CIVIC FD). +45 then your tire tucks inside, and possibleng tatama sa inner guard.

sir AFAIK may ibang alternative na bulbs na mas malakas sa stock halogen aside from using HID. Like Osram Nightbreakers, Philips Xtreme Power. Yan po magandang alternative if you don't want to use HID. HTH

^^ pero hindi po siya kasing lakas ng HID, pero you can see the difference from stock halogen bulbs.

Actually sir, the only readily available sa market na halogen bulbs na mas brighter than stock are Raybrig, Osram (Night Breaker) & Philips (Extreme Vision).

Now if you want a step ahead of the three, you might resort to Projector - HID Retrofit. Kasi if HID on stock headlight housing, nako perwesyo yan. And isa ako mga naiirita sa mga ganyang klaseng mod.

You may contact sir SG about this, kase maganda pagkagawa yong retrofit ng tucson niya. Tempting and very deceiving. Hhehehe, maybe by december, I'll have mine retrofitted...
