Oh would you know the fleetguard filter for the Hyundai Grand Starex? By next year we'll be doing our own Oil changes on this Van... Thanks again

    1kzte you can use Baldwin B2, Fleetguard LF3314, LF3313, LF55A1, LF689 (The synthetic media version LF3685.

The 4JG2 will use the same as the 4JA1 I posted earlier.

dvldoc whats your take on the Purolator Oil Filters? I saw some today on Ace hardware. Are they any good since they've been making oil filters since 1923...

The LF3487 doesn't fit the Navara (Thai built one at least). A friend tried fitting one in and it wouldn't. Kinda disappointed, the thing was bigger and heavier than stock and looked to be more heavy duty. LF3400 is much smaller in comparison.

Some of the stock from the dealer in Caloocan were old, produced 2007. Quite a few had rust on the bottom end, have to look out for that. And yeah, they do try to sell the fakes along with the originals.

They make Bosch and WIX so if orig, I expect it to be very good as well, maybe just as good or near as good as Baldwin or Fleetguard.
