    Hi Sir Dieseldude,

    Ask ko lang po about sa ride ko, 2005 Innova Diesel M/T which shows Mulfunction Indication Lamp error. Base sa mga nabasa ko dito sa forums e ang cause nito e yung EGR kaya pinalinis ko lang siya. Pero after malinis yung EGR, e mas lalo pang hindi nawala yung error. Dati, paminsan minsan lang lumilitaw, pero ngayon lagi na sya nakailaw after malinis. Walang ginamit na analyzer yung shop sa pagclear ng fault pero tinanggal lang ang connection sa battery. At first, nawala pero kapag napatakbo ko na e umiilaw na naman yung error. Ang issue po ba dito e dahil sa walang analyzer na ginamit or may iba pang issue sa ride ko kung bakit nailaw itong Malfunction Indication Lamp? Thanks in advance!

    Meron active fault ang innova mo na nangyayari lang pag umaandar ang engine. Pagkatapos mo burahin ang fault, nawawala ang check light dahil naka "key on, engine not running" ka. Bumabalik ulit ang fault pag pinaandar mo ang engine.

    Kelangan mo talaga ipa-scan ang car mo para malaman mo ang fault/s, at ma repair ito. Ito ang first step mo.

    Sayang yung gastos mo sa EGR service. Wag ka na mang hula; lalaki lang ang gastos mo sa trial-and-error.

    i have problem with our trooper 4jx1, hindi po normal yung rpm during idle as in ang baba cguro nasa 600 lang po...need to pressdown the pedal saka siya babalik sa normal na rpm pero ilang minutes lang baba naman sa 600...anu po ang dapat kung e pa check?

    Thanks for the advise, binawasan ko na inbox.

    Frankly, hindi ko alam ang solution sa problem mo. 600 idle rpm is low.
    Pero, ito gagawin ko:
    1) Scan
    2) check accelerator pedal settings (service manual is needed)
    3) check/replace fuel filter

    Good fix; thanks for sharing. Rattle probably came from excessive engine vibration due to very low idle rpm. Blocked fuel strainer will starve the engine of fuel and cause engine rpm to drop.

    gud pm sir, our ride is a nissan power pick up bd25 engine. story goes this way.. bumisita ako sa calibration shop kasi manghang na usok ng pick up kahit idle. tapos pag arangka sometimes white usok. ginawa ay tinanggal ang injectors at ang sabi low pressure na daw. Ewan ko kon ano ginawa nilinis lng siguro tapos ikinabit. Pag andar rough yung idle pero pag ini rev ok naman. tinanggal ulit at pag kabit okay na. napansin ko sir humina talaga ang arangka lalao na pag naka ac. Pag start na tumakbo parang mamatay ang engine. Di ko na ibinalik dun kumunsulta ako ng ibang shop. Sabi nila ica calibrate ang injection pum so pinagawa ko. They found out na marumi daw ang pump nilinis lang tapos drain din ang tangke. After calibration ganun pa rin. here are the symptoms.

    1. hina umarangka but after a while bumabalik parang delayed. hirap sa akyatan.

    2. i noticed pag inapakan ko gas pag umabot 1k ang rpm parang nanginginig ang sasakyan pero pag lampas ok naman.

    3. naging maingay makina. before hindi nman ganito.

    4. parang short sa fuel sa palagay ko lang lalo na pag paakyat hindi nya ma sustain ang power.

    need help talaga sir. ayoko ng pa calibrate muna baka ganun pa rin resulta.
