That is my understanding but I did not pursue. Better ask for the fine prints lang to be sure.

just got an insurance with them thru FWD recently.
pero medical insurance naman sya payable in 5 years, i choose the semi-annual terms para medyo makatipid ng konti. medyo mabilis ang transaction dahil matagal ko ng plano ito at kilala ni misis yung agent + BM.
will try to inquire more para naman sa investment pag nakaluwag-luwag ng time.
pagka ganito intact ba yung principal. mababalik sa iyo ng buo after 5yrs?

It looks like with the increasing interest rates, they were able to craft new policies where they give you a decent regular return on your money like bonds and use the difference to pay for the insurance premium. It's like a bond on steroids [emoji23]

I ask the FWD agent inside SB regarding Peso Nitro and she mentioned to me that the Principal after 5yrs will depend on the market condition so not guarantee your principal money will be intact after 5yrs. Also, the quarterly payout of 1.45% is not guaranteed. What I like about this the principal amount you can withdraw it anytime within the 5yrs period but you will get some deductions but after 5yrs there will be no more deductions should you opt to withdraw your money but then again the principal amount is not guaranteed. This is so far what I know. In case the FWD insurance company closes, your money will be gone?

In case the FWD insurance company closes, your money will be gone?
coz it's a separate company (insurance company)
hindi covered ng PDIC

It's funny when insurance companies cannot guarantee their own existence.
So many years ago I was surprised the insurance company was no longer charging for the monthly premium. Nagsara na pala. Philippine Prudential Insurance, not true to it's name.
