sad to say sabog talaga hid when retrofitted to a reflector lamp
initially I thought the excess glare was only a problem with the h4's
Wrong!!! i retrofitted my headlight (H1 kit 4300k) with just the same result
I think the main problem is the lamps specifically designed for halogen bulbs just can not handle excessive amounts of light that HID's emit kaya ayun! glare ang labas.
Although you will surely have better vision at night time there is just too much glare to oncoming traffic and even worse you will get flashed at most of the times so ung lakas ng ilaw mo wala rin kasi silaw ka rin
Lahat ng light cut off ng headlight mawawala or mabublur rin dahil yun nga d talaga intended for HID ang lamp
I'm just finding time to have mine removed as courtesy to all fellow motorists.
As for me though you may find it very tempting and affordable ang HID's (8t as compared to 60t when it first came out in the 90's) just save it and but a good Osram or Phillips brand.

there were times the car behind me is HID pero conventional naman yung lens nya, not intended for HID kaya ayun sabog, glaring. when this happens syempre masakit sa mata at na tri-trigger ang MIGRAINE ko. what I do? addjust my seating so that glares would not hit my eyes, result? hindi ko na siya nakikita, meaning hindi ko na alam kung tail gating sya, na tatae sya, gusto niyang mag overtake, gusto niyang sumingit...as in invisible na sya..he doesn't exist sa paningin ko.. magka sagian kami.. i dont care..

So HID users na hindi naman para sa HID ang lens... maybe you're also invisible to others not just me..

(bano = you just can't hit the mark, slang for... tanghali pero naka "evening attire" ka. Naka "beach wear" pero wala ka naman sa beach. Wala naman sa basketball court pero naka pang laro, naka HID pero hindi naman configured sa HID...bano)

Before asking that question. Do you have a pair of projector lenses? Are you upgrading your stock halogens in reflectors with HID? Or are you just changing the color temp on ang existing HID with projectors?

No projector lenses just plan to upgrade my halogens to HID. With proper headlight aiming.

Mga sir question lang poh!Yung zuk grand vitara 06 (2.0) e projector type haedlamp ba? mag pa install kc ako by next week. if not possible kc i will cancel my reservation and upgrade my sound system instead. TIA.

dagdag ko lng mga bro regarding on my experience. its all about proper using it...my hid is hi halogen and low hid.. tpos since d ako nkprojector pnasmoke ko ung gilid pra mski paano mabawasan glare pra nman mging maayos mkkita ko n di masyado nkkaffect sa mga nkksalubong ko. hassle ksi ung sarili mo lng iisipin mo eh at for sure mapapaaway ka pa. . .

On my part using HID once na may sumignal skn na kasalubong at alam ko nssilaw sia back to halogen ako. at usually pag two way road nkahalogen ako. tpos kapag nsa expressway kdalasan nka hid na ko..

d nman lahat ng motorist kpag nkasalubong mo nggive respect pag ngssignal ka eh mpa hid man o mapahalogen ... kgaya ng one time may nkasalubong ako fortuner. at adventure .. nka halogen lng sila pero nka bright sla . snignalan ko sila ng halogen (usually pag two way road nka halogen lng ako ) ksi nkksilaw pra bang sign of respect sa oncoming motorist. sukat akalain mo bang buksan pa nila ung foglight at tapatan p nla ako.. so ginawa ko inon ko HID ko and after that inoff ko rin tpos saka nila nrealize na mali sila.. and after that as sign of respect park light mode muna ako.. aun bnaba nila ilaw nila ........

as u can see Mapa Hid ka or Mapa Halogen ka me mga motorist tlga na uneducated..... kaya nga naniwala ako na di HID ang problem. ang problema is ung ibang uneducated drivers...

And one thing mga bro kaya po kadalasan inoon ang HID Kahit 3pm or 5.30pm p lng is.. pra sulitin ang warranty n2. ksi pag napundi kgad hid mo automatic replace all bulbs..

HID,nasa gumagamit talaga ang problema, lalo na ngayong season sobra traffic, bumper to bumper na nga yung iba pina-pangalandakan pa nila yung HID nila...

pwede namang mag Low beam, ewan ko ba jan sa iba...sarap ...ulo.
