A low-gear direct drive for stop-and-go, and a direct drive for the top/OD gear. That should make for a more reliable CVT, IMO.

I hope so for better fuel economy without worrying about tranny replacement instead of repair only.

which to buy: new wigo cvt, mirage g4 cvt, or suzuki dzire ags?
looking for driving comfort, ease of maintenance, and long-term reliability.

probably the ertiga for the fuel economy if the reviews are accurate although that should not qualify for the coding exemption since it isn't a full hybrid(even though some are being registered as such)

I'd get the Ertiga over the Avanza. The tranny is more bullet proof and roofloine taller.
