same here... never had any problems with my 2.7 VVT-i unit... no rattling sound, no engine problems, and mura ang maintenance that's why bilib ako sa quality... can't question its riding comfort since i am used to it...

i haven't heard any Indonesian-sourced D-4D Fortuners that had any problems yet... hopefully wala nga problems in their longer runs, para diesel na ipapalit ko pag lumabas na yung new model at pag may ipon na... hehehe

Pag sa 2.5 Montero Sport hands down. Sa 3.0 (3.2 narin ) mas malapit ang laban since halos magkapareho ang power output di tulad sa 2.5 tapos sabi daw hindi na matagtag ang current Fortuner diba? Totoo ba yan? Pero Montero Sport parin for the better looking interior and more features.

I disagree on the interiors. The MS has ugly interiors especially yung 2.5L (the aircon dials of the 2.5L is really ugly very Adventure looking) The Fort has better interior. Aircon is already climate control accross the range, optitron gauges, leather seats standard across the range and better looking stereo since it looks integrated well into the dash hindi yung de-suksuk lang...
