First option is asked some friends or kamag anak or anyone within your area kung may nagbebenta.

Next option - Check online Market Place like FB, Olx, Philkotse, Autodeal. Specifically target those owner/seller. Make a list of all the vehicle you want to check and sched a visit to check the vehicle.

3rd Option is 2nd hand Car lots. Visits na rin.

While doing it, get the prevailing Market price of the particular unit you prefer to buy so you can compare and haggle

Last is pag may napili ka na, don't close the deal outright, hanap ka ng trusted mechanic and bring him with you to check the vehicle condition. If everything is good then you can proceed and close the deal. Before I forget, test drive syempre..Pag ayaw magpa test drive, walk away. Ittakes alot of patient talaga pag 2nd hand buyer ka.. True, when I sold my car way back in 2004 sinimplehan ako ng mekaniko, he said he will convince the buyer basta abutan ko sya.. Gave him 3k and we close the deal.

Totoo yan yung truck ko binebenta ko kahit sobrang Tino sabi sakin ng mekaniko haggang hindi daw siya nag approve hindi daw bibilhin nung buyer kaya bigyan ko daw siya. Binigyan ko na lang din para mabenta na [emoji111]️[emoji846]

Pinabayaan ko na lang boss kung maniwala sya o hindi, di naman ako nagmamadali ibenta, but then may bumili din na iba after a week
