Sir, sa LA Cars ako nagpatint. They have a promo na 10K for all around V-kool. You can check out their website, www.lacaraccessories.com. They've had some negative feedback in various forums in the past, but my experience with them was quite good.



Agreed, di po maiwasan na may init pa rin through the roof, side panels etc. But I feel much less pa rin kaysa sa untinted car, or ordinary tinted car. Example ko na lang po, yung polyurethane steering wheel hindi mainit kahit na papasok ka sa kotse ng 12noon (bilad siya since 9AM). Usually pag ganito ka tagal, medyo di mo pa mahawakan ang steering wheel because mainit pa siya.

Kaya nga naglagay ako ng 10mm insulation sa roof ng sasakyan ko. It helps.

I think I'll get VKool for my next car, but that's a few years from now pa.

mga bossing.....just needed your knowledge on this one...ask ko lang po sana kung anong mga auto shops na may legit na ino offer na car tints (solargard, 3M or platinum brands) near meycauayan?
kung pwede sana ung name nung shop and address nila para mapuntahan ko pag magpapainstall na ko.

Hi Everyone,

Im having hard time deciding on vkool. Im set na to get vkool v40 for the windshield (no changing mind) but for the side and rear windows, i cant decide if i go for vkool m20 and solar gard xd 5 (superdark). Kasi wala LA Cars ng V40, so i have to go to Santolan. Prob naman sa santolan, they don't have M20, so might go with Solar Gard sa kanila.



Prefer ko sana Vkool all around, but to do that, I need to go to 2 installers (LA and Santolan).



May idea ka ba kayo how solar gard compares to Vkool pag side and rear windows lang? my preferences are privacy and of course heat rejection...

of course, the other option is:
Vkool 40 front, Vkool M20 (side and rear) or
Vkool 40 front, Solar Gard xd5 (dark shade) side and rear

For those who had their cars tinted at Vkool Santolan, do you remember if the warranty also covers scratches? The power window mechanism on the driver's side broke down and caused a long scratch.

I plan on getting my Jazz's rear window retinted. I'm looking for a very experienced shop that can remove my rear tint without damaging my defoggers. Anybody have recommendations? TIA.

hi sir new here, i'm getting a new innova soon and it comes with 3m tint (neutral sa windshield and medium black sa rest) which is the best daw and worth 7-8k, sabi ng toyota dude. is this true?

gusto sana ng fam high quality tint which blocks uv and heat away from the interior pero clear visibility pa din. what do you think sir? is the 3m tint from toyota good? your comments much appreciated. n.n

Ako gamit ko 3m magic dark #20.

When I was choosing which tint to get, the salesman pointed me to that one. Sabi ko gusto ko hindi kita sa loob. Sabi nya di na rin daw yun kita lalo na pag maliwanag sa labas.

May biglang lumapit na matabang chinese na guy who agreed that it's one of the best. Yun din daw gamit nya. I was getting the heavy dark tint sana pero dahil maraming nagsuggest, yun na kinuha ko.

Okay naman. Di na masyadong mainit sa loob ng car kahit nakabilad sa araw, di na rin masakit sa mata ang sikat ng araw, at hindi pa masyadong problema magdrive sa gabi, di masyadong madilim--visible naman lahat unlike my super dark tint sa accord namin dati wherein you couldn't drive safely at night because it was too dark.

Ang badtrip lang: kita ka pa rin sa labas lalo na during certain weather conditions or aninag pa rin... I wanted something na you couldn't see inside talaga sana.

Another problem: now I have to open my window pagpasok ng tollbooth dahil di mabasa pag nakapatong sa dashboard, nahaharang yata ng tint.

normal yan sir dahil sa metallic content ng 3M magic tints. di daw na dedetect ang E-Pass at EC-Tag

pwede patingin ng side view ng FD mo? para makita ko kung kitang kita yung loob pag M30 all around. kasi yung M20 ko sa sides and rear hindi parin nawawala yung foggy effect.

SQ, diba M10 yung sa Altis mo, mahirap ba ang vision sa gabi? darker parin ba ang 3M BC 20?

The reason why V-kool Santolan have no M20 is defective talaga siya. Got my Jazz tinted with M20 Dec 2008 at LA Cars but had it replaced with M30 after 3 months kasi hindi nawala ang haze. They replaced for free.

I got my Santa Fe windshield re-tinted with V70 at Santolan for greater night visibility. Too late when I learned that there is a V40 pala. I saw one MB SLK 320 car there tinted with V40 windshield and M30 windows and back. Kapag kumpleto na kabit ng tint the V40 shade looks like the M30 already. I think it is good compromise for visibity and privacy.

Oo nga pala. After experiencing both, V-kool Santolan have better service than LA Cars. You can even go to Concept One for a look around while they are tinting your car. Lapit lang siya sa V-kool.
