March 24th, 2018 05:08 PM #22There's a big difference between hard cases. One is hard shell and the other, soft shell. The other is of course, hard and heavy. The other soft, flexible and light.
My Samsonites are soft shell and is virtually indestructible. I've received my luggage from the carousel one time with a dent and all I did was to open it up and push it from the inside. Good as new.
This commercial is not fake. I can attest to it, for sure. LOL!
My other Samsonite soft shell (hardside series) is scratch resistant. The others have scratches, but not that noticeable. Some, I can wipe off with a damp cloth. As for the hard shell ones, yes, you do need to have it covered as it can scratch easily.
I owned a lot of fabric luggages and it tears easily after some travel adventures. I gave some away and I kept one and used it for my groceries as a trolley bag. Lmao!
Thus, my shift to soft cases. Never have to worry about changing it ever again.

Meron din kami old samsonite, malaki ng konti sa dimensions ng hand carry (about 10% more) and luggage pa lang 3.5 kgs na, so bale 3.5 kgs na lang pwede ilagay para pumasok sa hand carry.

I suggest you place luggage covers when travelling. Besides standing out from the others sa conveyor belt, anti-nakaw pa since hassle sa magnanakaw to remove the cover pa.
Downside lang is if may hinala ang TSA, they might not return it after opening your bag[emoji51]
