August 20th, 2018 02:28 AM #881Yes sir... but first you have to pass through our local immigration interviews... and if pass ka dito sa pinas, its not assurance din pag dating sa sg na you’ll be accepted... may chance din na mag airport to airport ka... goodluck!!!
Also, employers or job angecies their knows pag naka tourist ka and you are applying for a job and some of them give chance while others preferred those who already have work pass... goodluck again!
[emoji16] the best talaga mode of transportation nila... public bus + my trasport app+ mrt = convenience and hassle free... need mo lang ng internet which also very fast...

Ten years ago, madali gawin ito. (Speaking from experience) ngayon hindi na. They would choose locals first before considering foreigners. One sure fire way to land a job is to get a referral from someone who is already working in the company. I know because this is how i got in.

August 21st, 2018 09:29 AM #884one might notice that some companies seem to have more pinoys working in them than others.
while the so-called multitasking masipag na pilipino worker stands out elsewhere... here, every other asian worker seems to be so.
so yes. competition is tough. we need whatever leverage we can get, even endorsements from fellowmen.
good luck, TS.Last edited by dr. d; August 21st, 2018 at 09:32 AM.

Our edge to other races is we are hospitable and patient. Thats why in SG filipinos mostly work in the frontline where they need to face customers. That is something the locals are lacking. Ang susungit.

i work in a european bank in sg. the filipino community here is outnumbering
indians. the past 2-3 yrs (excl 2018) me mass recruitment na ginawa sa pinas.
kaya mga bago sa amin puro junior devs....mostly fresh grads with 2.5yr bond.
me mga nag-stay naman. pero maraming magagaling umalis after ipadala sa
HQ.
this year medyo nagslowdown hiring ng foreigners dahil sa mga bagong criteria ng min of manpower.

I asked because companies in general cannot hire just one race to run their company there has to be a mixture of other races. They even do this at HDB’s. They cannot put filipinos all in one floor of an HDB Block.
My experience in working with SG, masarap sa una but as the years go by the Govt makes it more difficult for us foreigners. New requirements, Policies, etc. Even if you want to be a P.R it has also become close to impossible to get it.
My consolation na lang when i arrive after coming from pinas is, ay salamat mabilis na uli ang internet at walang traffic! Lol

August 21st, 2018 11:27 AM #890oh...!
i did not mean, an entire floor manned by pilipinos.
what i meant was, "the pilipino seems to meet more pilipinos in the building, than other foreigner-workers."
i want to believe, that the pilipino was chosen over other-race-applicants, because the-pilipino-in-general is a proven good worker.
