that will take jeepney's off the road

i have nothing against old vehicles, as long as they pass the intended requirements.

I think that percentage should be higher.

I do agree that they should have a viable counter offer for jeepney drivers to surrender their dilapidated vehicles.

I did see some beep vehicles in marikina. Probably its just the LGU’s own effort and not a metro wide initiated move.

Based on my experience on PUJs...

    Required stopping distance
    Alignment
Gauges are not working (except for temp and amp)

You will also notice na majority of jeeps is walang radiator cap... They just use an oversized radiator to keep the engine cool...

Although I find it unfair na kasama yung spare tire sa article posted earlier... Yung ibang cars nga wala nang spare tire, so di din sila road worthy?

Naaawa man ako sa drivers, barkers pati sa mga may carinderia sa pila ng jeep (yung pila/terminal nila is actually illegal din)...

Our PUVs needs to be modernized. The Tricycles must go (matuto tayo mag lakad). PUV drivers must be regular employees.

How about safety ng mga passengers?
