Which is better? 2.7 vvti AT or 2.5 d4d AT? My wife only wants an automatic.

IMO, depends on how long do you intend to use and keep your Fort and kung madalas niyo ba gamitin ito everyday.

my wife will use it to work mga max 20kms a day tapos the occasional out of town every 2 months. initially we ordered the 2.7 kaso sobrang tagal ng unit. my dad complained talaga sa FC ng kanya din last month lang niya binili 2.7 nya. so i am now open sa d4d na 4x2 at.

mukhang parehong ok talaga. we can't decide because my concern is FC while wife ko ayaw naman sumakay ng maingay. she's a doctor and di daw bagay sa kanya ang diesel. dunno. hehe.

D-4D Diesel has higher purchase price (+60K), higher maintenance costs (short and more so long term), sensitive to "dirty" fuel (so careful which station you fill up).

Any diesel has the usual clatter and vibration associated with the engine. But in the Fortuner's case, its barely noticeable.

Kung pinagusapan ang tipid sa FC, 4x2 D-4D M/T ang pinakamatipid.

Pinakamahaba ang pila ay 4x2 diesel A/T (unless gusto mo mag manual trans - faster queue). 4x2 VVT-i and 4x4 D-4D also have quicker queues.

Kung ingay ang concern, definitely mag gas ka na lang. ung FC naman negates the lower price of VVTi compared sa D4-D which is around Php55,000 price difference. Break even lang ung FC at 6.5Km/Li, 20Km/day for 5 years theoretical computation.

pag nilipat ba ng bank di na magbayad ng chattel uli? di ko kasi maintindhan chattel na yan sowe... parang wala sa katwiran kasi chattel para saken kasi kumita na sa interest tapos magbayad pa ng chattel.
