    Hey,
Have any of you guys installed a rear view camera system in you fortuner? If so, please post pics and give me some ideas. I have been thinking about a licence plate camera with a rear view camera monitor, but this is cost may come up to around $500US, so I am looking for a cheaper alternative.

    Godfada,
Try the AVT in dash LCD screen around 10.2k. it has these feature where in you can connect it to a CCD camera.

While you're at it you can change your stock HU to a DVD player eh di may AV setup ka na may rear view cam ka pa :D

as for the CCD cam madami nito sa raon or sa greenhills. you can have it custom mounted sa rear.

To give you an idea on the AVT LCD and DVD HU check this out:

Does anyone know where i can get the covers for the wheel well. I would like somewhere that ships worldwide. Doesnt matter which country, as long as they will ship to Jamaica.

This is the website of the wheel cover's manufacturer based in Thailand.

    http://www.sathienplastic.com/aftermarket/mudguard.htm

Try contacting them but I think it is quite remote they do Business-to-Consumer (B2C) transactions over their website.

a colleague just got his fortuner a month or so ago. a 2.7vvti. he complains that his fuel consumption is around 4-5 km/l only, city driving. seems like something's wrong with the unit.

sorry, i haven't read the entire thread, just search fuel consumption of the fortuner, and so far i haven't seen anyone having this kind of consumption figure.

hehe..oo nga, ...or there could be something wrong with him. he came from a CR-V, so maybe he's trying to drive the truck like a car-based mini-suv

will talk to him and ask
