Nakow... another recall form Toyota, before not as big as this. Tsk tsk, gonna think twice now. Scares me every time I get reminded of that car that fell off because of this poor quality issue.

    amen to that.

I wonder if the koreans are suffering from the same "over-expansion" issues.

Oo nga we pinoys especially the masses loves this sabi sabi thingy, and I bet this stigma will remain for some time.

I guess the remaining 2 of the so called Japanese Big 3 car makers worldwide namely Nissan and Honda, and even upcoming Korean hotshot Hyundai will benefit because of this.

They could be... I hope they learn from Toyota and expand but at a more moderate and gradual pace. Never forgetting that quality is the cornerstone of true growth!

waiting game pa rin. in the meantime, status quo muna

but this much i can say. it had to take the local DTI to call them before toyota could even come out with the damage estimate.sadly, customer service fails big time as we were not even apprised of the damage estimate until we had to go there ourselves

    Thanks sa update sir,
What about the caused of the accident? Any update?

buti na lang wala kami toyota grabe pala noh. propaganda or not, credible technical defect or not. i'll stay away from toyota. pati japan eh umamin. kung us and japan na mismo ang kalaban ng toyota kahit anong defense mechanism na kesyo gawa sa thailand ang toyota dito won't matter. mother units na nga palpak eh

    and worst pati lexus.

toyota is not saying anything. basta yun lang ang damage report and once approved by the insurance, they will give a new unit

See...another reason why we should try avoiding Toyota for now.

Yeah yeah yeah... but why buy something that can increase your chance of getting into an accident?

I too know how to use the clutch and brake, but if given a chance to purchase a different brand with no pedal anomalies, then I would prefer to buy that instead.

Did you try to complain or ask them the main cause of accident sir?
