It's recommended to have a change oil at least 2X a year. an additional cost of ~1.5k ( 900 oil + 380 filter + 200 labor ) should be enough to cover the addt'l change oil.

when i examined underneath, it seems to have been in collision with the rear frame crossmember (51209-0K020). this is where the spare tire carrier assembly is bolted to. on either side you'll see protruding flaps of metal that made the scratches on the rims.

the major contributing factor to this is the spare tire lock. if you push the spare tire lock further so that it firmly pushes on the rims upward, there is a tendency for the rims to hit the flaps i was mentioning earlier, thus scratching - imagine how good our roads are here in the philippines.

just a word of warning to all lads...

Sir yung gasgas ba ng rims nyo sa may bandang gitna ng rim? Ganyan din ngyari sa akin, ang pinagawa ko nagpalagay ako ng old interior rubber on top of the spare tire para maiwasan yng pag gas gas nya sa body. Di ko pa nacheck though kung effective.

Experience din kaya ito ng lahat? Parang wala ako naririnig na nagrereklamo nito other than us. Actually dati ko pa gusto i-post dito kaya lang baka kasi may mali lang sa paglagay ko ng spare tire baka sumobra higpit?

Kailangan pa ba talaga yung spare tire lock. Sa tingin ko hindi naman basta makakalas yung tire. Di ba kailangan pa iikot ng jack handle para bumaba yun? Yung revo ko ganun din had it for 11 years hindi naman nanakaw yumg spare tire.

kung safe naman ang innova sa garahe mo at kung hindi ka basta saan2x nag papark. I guess no need na ung tire lock.

Mukang kelangan ko na nga papalitan yung mekanismo sa lahat ng pinto, kasi nag loloko na lahat. Hehe.

Good day mga tol ask ko lang po if anyone of you have modified your tire from 205/R65/15 to 205/R70/15. kung may big effect sa takbo at fuel consumption ng innova natin. Plan ko magpalit ng tires early next year kasi 4 years na gulong ko. tnx

Got the following accessories installed at C34X4 for my Innova E:

Code Alarm 1051
2 eye backing sensor with distance display

Matapos ang pagiinstall ng Code alarm tinanong ko ang starter kill feature, hindi daw nainstall. Sabi ko daw kasi wag ivovoid ang warranty. Nasunod nga naman ang bilin ko. Hehe. May puputulin na wires daw kasi. Hindi ko na rin pinakabit at nagmamadali kami at conscious din ako sa warranty issue. Magcacause ba ng problem sa electrical system ng sasakyan kapag tinamper ang wiring to accomodate the starter kill feature? Or masyado lang ako conscious sa warranty issue? Malaking factor din kasi talaga kung may starter kill feature ang alarm. Salamat.

Indeed bro. ang nangyari sakn dati, hindi nag sasabay sa pag lock ung passenger door. minsan it will lock minsan ayaw naman. kailangan i-check ko pa lahat ng lock everytime i lock the car. hassle. hehe,

I did the same thing, putting a rubber pad between tire and chassis so the tire lock bolt will not touch the rim and damage it. After three years, I removed the tire lock and discovered the technician at MArikina installed the bolt incorrectly. The bolt should have been facing upwards rather than downwards where the end of the bolt is pointing at and actually touching the rims, thus damaging it. Sarap batukan ng mga service technician.
