It's not really a good problem to have when you have to constantly fiddle with the AC button every 5 minutes for a typical 2-hour commute.
And I suspect, that button will break soon enough.
Thanks for the suggestion, Walter. I had the thermostat and sensor checked last oil change and they just basically told me, ganyan talaga iyan e.
The other day, I had the rare chance to be driven by our driver. I sat in the back because I wanted to get some sleep for my 2-hour journey. Fell asleep I did, with the AC so freezing cold that when we arrived, I woke up with a sore throat and runny nose.
I guess the only solution is to wear a jacket everyday.
I love my Corolla, but that automatic AC really is a POS.

I have the same experience with my 10th and 11th gen. Both really cold at 28 deg C even if the 10th gen is 7 years old already.
Nice problem to have though, I'd choose it over my Mazda's so-so aircon. I don't feel worried about the heat even if I bake my car under direct sunlight.

My co worker's 2013 corolla is hella cold. Its got 160k on the odo and a/c can freeze hell imo.
Anyways we were enroute to some mountain and then he was fiddling with his nose later on my sinus was dry. I said lets disable the recirculate and just use the fresh air. I knew it was cold a/c, he didnt know it was the a/c. He has been sickish the past two years hahahaaa

What's your temp setting ba? Mine is at 25 and it's providing enough (a bit colder) on a hot day. I adjust it to 20 when I want colder than usual. On a rainy day with 30 or below outside temp, the 25 setting will have my ac turn out very cold air.

It's always at 24. But when it's raining really hard, I set at 28

August 28th, 2016 09:07 PM #4320Hi Guys,
Just bought a Red Altis G MT variant. I've been mostly driving diesel SUVs for the past few years and this will be the first time I'll be driving a gasoline powered sedan again since I first learned how to drive on a 1st gen vios.
Any tips for a new owner? Recommended accessories to get? I know I'll get some deep dish matts asap because of this rainy weather.
