Hi Guys,
40,000 kms service maintenance: May idea kayo kung magkano ang estimate at kung anong mga parts ang papalitan? Nag-resign na kasi si SA at wala matanungan.
Iniisip ko sa labas nalang magpa-service kung marami ang replacement. Please advise.
Cheers!

Usual parts to be changed:
- change oil/oil filter
- chance gear oil/ATF
- spark plugs (if youre not using iridiums)
- change air filter
- check cabin filter
- not sure about the fuel filter but you can check on the manual.
- clean brakes
- check/retorque suspension
Cost? I'd estimate 6-8K. Cheaper if you buy your parts from your suking Toyota store and have a independent shop do it.

Just checking the air filter of the A/C (behind the glove box); replace if necessary. Brake pad replacements are done when they're worn out but your brakes should be cleaned at that stop.
Im due for 20K service also but i'm deciding between going out of the dealer already or doing one last service stop at the dealer. Definitely at the 25K mark, i'll go back to 3rd party shops already.

^Ano pangalan? We have a suking SA at Toyota Pasig also. They're also the only dealer so far that allows me to bring my own motor oil. I'm not all satisfied with their service though. Ilang beses na they keep telling us to change parts that are still good (imagine recommending i change my 15,000kms old brake pads).
Re. specific works being done at a certain mileage interval (Every 5K, 10K, 20K, 40K), you can find it on the owner's manual.. Usual heavy service stops are the 20K and 40K.

Si Jason yung SA ko. Okay naman ako sa Toyota Pasig kasi malaki parking space nila at madali puntahan for me. But of course, just like you, same typical casa experiences for me ("normal lang yan", "palitin na to", etc..) =))
Okay, I haven't checked the manual for that. Will do it later. Thanks!
