May 14th, 2013 09:51 PM #1802For V variants gate type ang shift lever even for G I guessed..also the knob has a button to press as you shift from P to R / D & vice versa..I don't feel any resistance while shifting except pushing it upward due to gated slot design, though it glides with less efforts..I never had the urge to even try how the paddle shifts respond..saka na pag maka out of town trip somewhere..
I suggest you find more time browsing the accompanying Corolla Manual..it helps a lot to know more about your awesome Altis ride..if you are still in doubt ask around, including your dedicated Toyota Service Advisor..

May 19th, 2013 09:41 AM #1806Thanks sir.. The problem is the manual isn't that much helpful hehe as well as the SA's haha..
Another thing there is a "groan" sound whenever I shift to P.. First I thought brakes yun but I pressed the brake pedal harder to prevent the car from creeping but still the sound is there.. Is it normal din? Thank you.. Tsuri kulit lang

May 20th, 2013 10:48 PM #1807Hi mga sir! New member here, Altis 1.6V. Ask ko lang po kasama po ba gulong sa warranty? 4 months palang po kasi yung car ko nasabugan na ko ng rear left tire, wala tuloy ako spare.
TIA!

May 21st, 2013 10:21 AM #1810Anything about car there is always a User's Manual to help and guide us how the car functions both in static and dynamic states..beyond that there is only one sure way to run to regarding your concerns: Toyota Dealership..as to experienced SAs to help you out it's hardly controllable if you get the best your casa can offer..if in doubt you always ask the Service Manager directly and be frank with in dealing with them..
your "groaning" complaint is quite common with automatic tyransmissions as you start from full stop IMO.."lumalagitnit" ang automatic transmission system as you slowly creeps..but "groaning sounds" while shifting with brake pedal depressed is not normal..have it inspected by your nearest casa asap..
