Good day mga sirs and mam,

I need your expertise po, kapag kaka simula ko pa lang paandarin yung avanza ko kagaya ng pag atras para makalabas ng garahe sa bahay eh may naririnig akong sumisipol na tunog kapag inaapakan ko ang preno. After 5 mins na byahe nawawala na yung sipol na tunug sa preno.
Anu pu kaya ang problema? need ko na pu ba palitan ang break shoe ko?

I also experience this, but have noticed that it disappears after every PMS of which the casa does brake cleaning every time. Not so much of an issue to me. I don't know but it could be rust that have accumulated.

Good Day, Mga Sir! Tanong ko lang bakit hirap humatak yung Avanza ko. Noong una medyo hirap siya sa acceleration kaya nagpalit ako ng AT fluid. Okay na ngayon kaso hanggang sa 80kph lang siya kaya baka sa fuel filter. Kaso ang hirap pala baklasin yung filter dahil nasa loob ng tangke saka fuel gauge. Baka kasi meron ng nakaranas ng ganitong problema. Yung Avanza ko ay 2009 1.5G na matic.

I am planning to have my clutch checked, nanginginig kasi if paahon.. anu po kaya ang problem?

Gusto ko din pa check shock absorber sa driver side front, may lumalagutok kasi sa start ng drive tpos eventually nawawala.

Avanza 2012 E Manual po ang sakin.

Hi Chiefs,

I own an Avanza 2007 G, AT. Would like to know as to why my car's engine rattle's a bit during acceleration if I fill-up with an unleaded fuel with 91 RON? But If I use the Premium or the XCS with 95 RON (both from Petron), there are no rattles. Engine response and smoothness are the same when using both fuels, its just the annoying minimal rattling sound. As stated in the manual, the engine only needs an at least 90 RON. Is there a way we can adjust the ignition timing in a 3SC-VE engine? I haven't replaced the spark plugs yet.

I hope somebody can shed light on this. Thank you for your reply / suggestion.

pre-ignition. engine knock. tope in tagalog.
either your engine has too-advanced ignition timing, or your cylinders are full of carbon gunk that its compression ratio is already markedly increased, or your car's engine was designed for octane rating higher than 91.
i would add, engine overheat, but it is unlikely, if the rattling occurs even with cold engine.

My car never experienced overheat, also the "slight" knocking occurs only during the initial run (which goes away after several kms of travel), and also when it is filled by 91 RON. But if I use a 95 RON, definitely there's no knocking issue. What you said about the carbon gunk strike me, as I usually baby my ride, and I only travel short distances daily. I think I need to stretch its legs, perhaps an Italian tune-up?

. Also I forgot to mention, I haven't changed the plugs yet, could this also contribute to the slight knocking issue? Thank you for sharing your thoughts dr. d and Magnus888
