But if I use a 95 RON, definitely there's no knocking issue. What you said about the carbon gunk strike me, as I usually baby my ride, and I only travel short distances daily. I think I need to stretch its legs, perhaps an Italian tune-up? . Also I forgot to mention, I haven't changed the plugs yet, could this also contribute to the slight knocking issue? Thank you for sharing your thoughts dr. d and Magnus888
an italian tune up on the way to some delicious eating place up north or down south, is tastier than going to the talyer.

Stick with 95ron and religious maintenance, change oil every 5k. Always use premium gas. I had my engine overhauled on its 150k, ang linis ng loob as in gulat yung mekaniko. No sludge build up. Wag nyo tipirin tsikot nyo.

I always miss those freshly cooked Chopsuey in Baguio, and the "kakanin's" of the south like the Espasol, Buko pie and the like. Enjoying the food, the ride and the Italian Tune-up! Sorry off topic!

I just thought that 91RON was more than enough, as the manual only requires 90RON. As I said above, I baby my ride, which means the maintenance i do was also more than religious, which sometimes my conscience bothers me as I am spending more on what normally my car needs Thanks for your input Chief!

Never had any smooth ride with 91ron or regular diesels on our cars. Laging rough ang tunog ng makina or meron knock sound. That's why I stick with premiums as their additives and detergents are worth every penny. I use semi-synthetic oils every 5k for 15years, no engine issues whatsoever.

i believe it's like the innova's dual aircon.
and just like the innova's, the rear cold air ducts pass just under the hot roof metal. the aircon would have to cool the hot ducting first, before it gets cool at the vent openings.
yung innova namin, kapag tanghali, ay medyo matagal lumamig ang hangin galing sa aircon sa likuran.
