April 11th, 2014 03:19 PM #541I read through review above and checked out the pictures. Picture number #4 is of the sticker in the engine bay which contains "valve clearance" data, which I haven't seen in a new car for a very very long time.
Does this mean that the valve clearances must be adjusted periodically like cars made before the turn of the millennium? Can the experts in this forum help with this question?
Thanks in advance!

April 12th, 2014 12:54 PM #544Thanks *Izzie for the reply. This engine seems to be a throwback to the 1990s -- no VVTi and manually adjusted valve tappet.
Weird for a Toyota, but it explains why Wigo is so affordable. If you can wait an extra hour every periodic servicing, then I guess it won't really matter. It's just so retro though...
Thanks again.

April 15th, 2014 12:46 AM #545Sad to say but I backed out na sa Wigo, maraming ng stock for the E variant but for the G variant my SA could still not give me an estimate date. I'll be getting my mirage na tomorrow, pero more power pa din to Wigo owners and wannabe owners here, I still think this car is a bang for the buck

April 15th, 2014 02:30 PM #546Sir consider din ang after sales service ng mitsubishi. I have heard and read a lot of horror stories about it. Actually, that is the same reason that is holding me back to buying a very good car (mirage).

April 15th, 2014 10:43 PM #549I have considered that na din sir don't worry, meron community mga mirage owners and they have contacts where to get cheap parts, accessories, good casa service etc hehe.. ayaw ko kasi matapos summer ng hindi na ipapasyal daughter ko, I promised her kasi that we would go on roadtrips this summer. Mejo lamang pa din talaga Wigo G over glx when it comes to safety features and accessories, engine lang talaga pampalubag ko sa glx ko, unti untiin ko nlang siguro upgrade, unahin ko muna alloy black rims and wider tires ;)
